Centerless grinding<\/strong>\u00a0is a\u00a0machining\u00a0process that uses\u00a0abrasive cutting\u00a0to remove material from a workpiece.\u00a0Centerless grinding differs from centered grinding operations in that no\u00a0spindle\u00a0or\u00a0fixture\u00a0is used to locate and secure the workpiece; the workpiece is secured between two rotary\u00a0grinding wheels, and the speed of their rotation relative to each other determines the rate at which material is removed from the workpiece.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n
